Rockingham Planning Commission 2008 Regional Transportation & Land Use Survey |
|||||||||||||
|
What do you see as the most pressing transportation needs in your community and region? How are increasing fuel costs impacting your travel? How do you think your community should accommodate growth while managing its impacts? We want to hear from you. The Rockingham Planning Commission (RPC) is the regional land use and transportation planning agency serving Southeastern New Hampshire. We would like to know your views on transportation, housing, and land development issues in your town and region. The RPC region includes 27 towns and cities in Rockingham County, stretching from the Seacoast west to the I-93 corridor. Your input will help in updating the RPC’s Regional Master Plan and Long Range Transportation Plan. These regional plans establish land use policies and set priorities for state and federal transportation project funding in our region for the next 20 years, including road building and maintenance, bicycle and pedestrian facilities, rail and bus transit, and freight. (Survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes) The survey will be available online until Friday, August 8, 2008. The RPC has also contracted with the UNH Survey Center to conduct a telephone survey of 500 randomly selected households in the RPC service area using a similar questionnaire. For more information please contact Scott Bogle at the Rockingham Planning Commission at (603) 778-0885 or sbogle@rpc-nh.org.
